Ther is a beautiful mixture of gorgeously toned and blast white examples that have all been assigned lofty grades that most would consider a bit too high based on current grading standards. Included in this eye catching group lot are the following issues: an 1879-O PCI MS-65, an 1880-O NTC MS-65, an 1880-S NTC MS-68, an 1881-O NTC MS-66, an 1882-O NTC MS-65, an 1883-O NTC MS-67, an 1884-O NTC MS-67, an 1885-O NTC MS-67, an 1887-O NTC MS-66, an 1888-O NTC MS-66, an 1889-O CRC MS-63, an 1891-O NTC MS-65, an 1898-O NTC MS-66, an 1899-O NTC MS-67, a 1900-O NTC MS-67, a 1901-O NTC MS-67, a 1902-O NTC MS-67, a 1904-O NTC MS-67, and a 1921 NTC MS-67. Grand National Collection. Here lies a foursome of Burmese silver coins that are sure to ‘ruffle some feathers”. All four of these are nearly identical CS1214(1852) Burma Kyat Lettering Around Peacock silver strikes with two being NGC certified and two being raw examples. The two NGC certified examples are both AU Details with one being marked as Cleaned and the other marked as Stained. Any bird enthusiasts out there (ck)?
