Accompanying is 1884-CC, less abraded in the fields compared to the preceding and endowed with a comparatively slightly better strike. Two coin lot.

Silver Dollar-Peace
Atypical for 1923-S, both sides exhibit bold, energetic luster not usually seen, and all this over satin-laden texture that emphasizes visual appeal. Two broad apricot-gold crescents align with a broad, diagonal champagne band on the obverse while the reverse features a thin layer of fuzzy grey patina. A fair number of minute bagmarks stray over the eagle's wing.
