With a nearly nonexistent population of only two sheets reported, this very rare run of (12) 1934-D $5 Wide I (QA Block) silver certificates are certainly worth some serious attention. Bold blues clash against nearly Gem CU paper quality making this particular sheet a deserving recipient of the Choice UNC 64 grade it has been awarded by PMG. Scott Laiter Collection. 41 graded MS-61, 37 higher at NGC. While more available as a date within the series, 1868 is at least not one of the truly common emissions. Without aid of a loupe, MS-61 almost seems too low given the lovely semi-flashy luster often seen for the date. Traces of lavender-gold show on both sides.

This cute little pair includes an 18K yellow gold oversized fly pin with two cabochon turquoise stones and the smaller 14K yellow gold bee companion has dark blue sapphire accents. Our little fly measures just over 1” long and weighs 6.9 dwt while the bee is closer to .75” and weighs 1.5 dwt.
