KM#377.11, Oaxaca mint. This 1861 sees use of the large eagle seen only examples of 1861-2. Lettering appears crude and uneven, yet the coin received a very good strike from these rare dies. Shimmering with off-white and greyish patina that helps subdue a few trivial hairline abrasions.

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
