NGC has graded this fearsome foursome as follows: a 1942 MS-65, a 1946-D MS-66, a 1946-S MS-66+ CAC, and a 1943 MS-67. Impressive brilliant luster greets the eye when this trio of certified half-dollars is laid out in plain view. Included are: 1938 (decent strike and just trivially abraded down the torso), 1945-D (delicate pinscratch abrasion at obverse right is nearly invisible without a strong loupe), and 1945-S (an average strike that glows with pronounced frosted texture).
