Ther is a beautiful mixture of gorgeously toned and blast white examples that have all been assigned lofty grades that most would consider a bit too high based on current grading standards. Mastodon Collection. Overton-119a, R.3. The die state appears to fall just shy of the latest seen, with wavy clashmarks that connect the tops of the digits in the date, not to mention evidence of at least two very strong clash patterns on the obverse. There is no die crack on the reverse through "U" of UNUM. Although both sides are flatly struck, that is characteristic of the die-marriage yet both sides boast strong luster. A couple of small digs at the end of UNITED are notable.
