Silver Dollar-Morgan
Lowball collecting has become a thing in recent years as the cost of high-grade better-date silver dollars goes through the roof. Most of these are better dates, listed with estimated [cataloger grades] as follows: 1878-CC (Good, superbly original, 1878-S (VG/ancient cleaning has recovered gunmetal hue), 1888-O VAM-4 "hot lips" (Good, interesting Kraft envelope toning pattern), 1890-CC (Fine/old PVC conserved), 1893-CC (VG/dipped surface has recovered some color), 1894-O (Good/strangely colored), 1899-O (Good, outstanding and unusually strong album color), 1900-O (Fine, darker ashy grey), 1903-S (VF/cleaned with sharpness somewhat close to XF), and 1923-D (VF, modest album tone). Ten coin lot.

Cartwheeling luster dances about the surfaces of every example within this two roll lot of AU/BU Franklin half-dollars. One roll of (20) are 1949-D issues and includes 13x AU’s and 7x AU/BU’s. The second roll is (20) 1949-S issues that includes 14x AU/BU’s and 6 BU+ examples. Very nice album filling examples that would look nice in nearly any AU and above collection (ck).

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
