Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Growth Collection. Obviously a choice high-relief dollar, excellent satin-laden vibrancy on both sides leads off the list of distinctions, followed closely by a strike that certainly exceeds expectations for 1921. The reverse, in particular, features nice delineation of the eagle's feathers while the obverse has only the central weakness always expected. Traces of bronze-grey can be found around portions of the devices.
