  • Lot #711 - 1895-O NTC, as described
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [AU-58]. Exceptionally close to mint-state, especially as robust olive-gold and orange-purple toning tends to downplay finger friction with the fields. Slight rub on the cheek and eagle's breast speak to brief introduction to the channels of commerce. Linear abrasions can be found in the field beneath Liberty's chin.

  • Lot #847 - 1857 Flying Eagle NGC MS-62
  • Hammer: $700
  • Small Cents-Flying Eagle
  • Clem Stevens Collection. Infused with outstanding penny-copper hue, one could not imagine a more ideal color for a flying eagle cent. The dies, polished not long before striking, could not bring out every possible detail but there are no overly weak areas. One moderate nick above the eagle is the only abrasion worth mentioning.
