  • Lot #132 - 1882 $50 Brown Back - Joplin, MO Charter #3841 - VF/stain
  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • The First National Bank of Joplin, Missouri. An extremely elusive bank, this very scarce high-denomination large was issued before Joplin's first national bank went under in 1923. The cataloger found only nine extant, this example still showing faded but legible brown signatures and three broad margins. A remarkable opportunity, especially for a note that was reported to us as having never been certified.

  • Lot #737 - 1935, 1935-D, and 1934-S, all PCGS MS-64
  • Hammer: $1,150
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Very choice half-dollars all supply a profusion of white luster for this PCGS trio. Included are: 1935 (decent strike off of once-clashed and repolished dies), 1935-D (the commonly flatter strike yet zooming luster can still take advantage of nicely frosted texture), and 1935-S (clearly not well struck yet here again, ample luster makes up for any technical deficiency). Three coin lot.
