Faint rub suggests a borderline AU-58/MS-60 grade but without diminishing incredible detailing in the slightest. The wire edge rim typically sees less effects from contact than so-called "knife edge" examples but perhaps improper storage led to undue abrading of the edge of this all-time favorite.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
