101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. A trio of Trade dollars turns toward our trusted, terrific bidders in hopes of a tremendous transaction. [Cataloger's grades] are included as: 1876-S ([AU/wire-brushed/recolored], showing curiously deep but almost passable denim-green and russet-grey), 1877 ([XF/cleaned], and now showing curious brassy hue but also possibly some recovering album color), and 1878-S ([AU/polished], and so bright now on the obverse as to appear fully prooflike). Three coin lot.
