Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Bucky The Badger Consignment. The upper two-thirds of the obverse and in aggregate, about four-fifths of the reverse are deeply imbued with highly attractive magenta-cobalt toning that shimmers in kind with lovely mint bloom. Except for these areas, a significant amount of mint orange defies NGC's "BN" designation. The strike appears to be perceptibly above average for the famed key Lincoln cent.
