Large Cents-Classic Head
Sheldon-281, no clash marks and thus suggestive of an earlier strike. This Sheldon variety always seems to come a little softly struck yet the headband shows plainly and most definition within the strands of hair are nicely rendered. PCGS states "cleaned" but a more thorough inspection suggests that corrosion has been relieved from the surface, the whole coin later recolored nicely and nearly to the state of an original piece.

Delicate, pastel lavender-grey coats the surface and provides a nice, vintage appearance in tangent with hints of tobacco-grey at the rims. A decidedly well struck commemorative affected only by very faint, scattered bag abrasions.
