Gold Dollars-Indian Princess Head, Large Head
Cheddars de Voirs Collection. First is 1873 "open 3" showing satin-laden surface texture, but luster perhaps a trifle weakened by faint hairlines. Accompanying is 1873 "closed 3" blanketed by noticeably glowing golden hue over surfaces that exhibit occasional flashes of reflectivity. Two coin lot.

An adorable coin, the obverse seems to survive about a half grade nicer than the reverse, switching around the usual situation to the coin's advantage. While nicely struck and showing excellent facial details, an errant bagmark nicks Liberty's forehead.

The main focal point of the bangle is an approximate .50 ct. round cut diamond, I1 clarity, I-J color and four approximate .03 ct. bezel set accent diamonds. Dimensions 2.75” x 2.5”, 10.4 dwt.
