Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A remarkable trio of California fractional gold, specifically 25-cent pieces, comprises this PCGS grouping. Included are: BG-727 (astonishingly high grade and blatantly prooflike), BG-728 (drenched in curiously lackluster greenish hue and unusually well struck), and BG-872 (rather outstanding citrus-gold on the obverse and lemon-yellow on the reverse with semi-prooflike reflectivity). US Currency-National Bank Notes
The First National Bank of McVille, North Dakota. Truly very rare off of McVille, a town founded in 1906 and boasting a population of about 500 in 1929, the census shows a single small size note. That said, this note, though worn honestly and properly, does show "CB" or perhaps "EB" in ink above the right serial number. Neither the well worn status nor small detraction can relieve the interest sure to ensue for this remarkable offering.
