Recognized as a grade-rarity with hardly any UNC examples known, this borderline-UNC coin further surprises potential bidders with a much better strike than expected, featuring virtually fully realized wing feathers and excellent dentilation all around both sides.

Prominently toned overall, signatures on the front have nearly faded away while the balance of the design remains relatively sharp and bold. A very scarce note off of Clayton, which is ironically a financial hub in the St. Louis area.
