Glimmers of brick-red surround both sides in defiance of the "BN" designation but there is no denying that attractive, slightly frosty brown patina has overtaken the vast majority of the surface. Much to the coin's benefit, the obverse shows essentially no evidence of the carbon spots that plague these Island-centric coppers while the reverse does retain several of the small dark intruders. Flush with luster and undeniably attractive.
