Unusually luminous for a teens issue and showing pure white brilliance. The obverse fields are impressively clean for only MS-64 while the reverse shows a mildly yellowed area left center.

Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
While common even at MS-67, a crisply struck and dazzling quarter-eagle will always be a treat for the eyes when competently graded, as is the case here. Sparkling luster dance around the results of a high-definition strike to great advantage. Varieties have not been well studied for the series but the cataloger notes some "stuff" within zero of the date that could be of interest.
