Browning-1, R.4 and a variety for which not a whole lot of new examples have been found in the past couple of decades, leaving it as still a very scarce die-marriage. Were Liberty's central hair strands showing slightly more delineation, the coin would reach XF sharpness, while rather original coral-grey patina adds to the appeal. A coin with amazingly few blemishes considering the middle level of circulation.

Both center diamonds are surrounded by a halo of round brilliant diamonds weighing altogether .48 cttw, SI clarity, G-H color. There are heavy white gold lever-back closures to complete the earrings. Dimensions 1” x .50”, 2.8 dwt.
