Witmor Farms Collection. Only two key date issues are missing from this nearly complete collection of Buffalo nickels that are securely housed in a Dansco album. Mostly collector grade examples are noticed throughout and range in grade from Very Good through Extra Fine with only a few exceptions. Included in this pleasing collection are the following notable examples: a 1913 Type 1 (XF), a 1913 Type 2 (AU), a 1913-D Type 2 (XF), a 1913-S Type 2 (VG+), a 1914-D (F), a 1915 (AU), a 1915-D (XF, cleaned), a 1916-D (VF), a 1916-S (F), a 1917-D (VF), a 1917-S (VG), a 1918-S (AU), a 1919-D (VG), a 1919-S (F), a 1920-S (VF, cleaned), a 1921 (XF), a 1921-S (GD+), a 1923-S (VF), a 1924-D (VF), a 1924-S (F+), and many more collector grade issues that are too numerous to mention here! Lot #779 - 1884 NGC PR-65 CAMEO

13 graded PR-65 CAM, 1 graded PR-65 CAM "star", 47 higher at NGC. Bone white and struck with the extreme precision one expects. A low mintage of 875 pieces seems to have survived in poor quantities are gem-and-better examples are difficult to locate. Outstanding mirrors here might have been impetus for an ULTRA designation but the contrast is not as vivid as seen for true early strikes.
