Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Here’s a unique jewelry piece featuring a center flower that trembles with every move the wearer makes. Known as an "En Tremblant," the center flower is wired to the base so that it can move freely. The piece can serve as either a pin or as a pendant and it holds four natural opals, small pearl accents and a larger pearl that dangles from the bottom. Dimensions 1.5” x 1.3”, 4.5 dwt.
