VAM-3. Astoundingly, about half of the entire mintage of 1881-CC Morgan dollars found their way into the GSA hoard, meaning it is a far more common date within the series than prices might suggest. This nicely struck example features a borderline superb strike beneath delightful aluminum-grey patina. Trivial surface grazes affect the cheek, which otherwise appears untouched to the unaided eye.
