  • Lot #762 - 1861-O, 1863-S, and 1865-S, as described
  • Hammer: $550
  • Half Dollars-Liberty Seated
  • 101st Airborne Collection. Civil War emissions comprise this generally middle-grade trio. Included with CATALOGER GRADE ESTIMATES are: 1861-O (VG, toned scratches right of the arm), 1863-S (VF, bold LIBERTY and pleasing dusky platinum-grey nicely surrounded by darker charcoal toning), and 1865-S (VF-30 or better and a good lamp brings out surprisingly nice album coloration). Three coin lot.

  • Lot #664 - 1892-CC PCGS MS-64+
  • Hammer: $3,600
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • VAM-8, far date. A die chip within the lower loop of "9" readily identifies this older VAM. A very well struck example, the reverse looks gem-plus all by itself while some faint roll abrading in the obverse left field may have prevented PCGS from going all the way to sixty-five. Essentially white with subtle, yellowish rim toning.
