  • Lot #356 - Five Indian quarter eagles, all NGC MS-64
  • Hammer: $3,100
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • While all five dates within this run of Indian quarter-eagles may be considered “generic”, there is absolutely nothing “generic” about these five exquisite examples of this heavily sought after type! Each of these are NGC certified as MS-64 and includes a 1925-D, a 1926, a 1927, a 1928, and a 1929. Every example offers ample orange burst luster and incredibly clean fields that makes them more than deserving of their nearly Gem grade. Even the most critical collector would have a tough time finding fault with this grouping (ck).

  • Lot #548 - 1908 No Motto NGC MS-67
  • Hammer: $4,700
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • Exquisitely lustrous and free from contact, the sole complaint, and it is a small one, is that the usual slightly deficient strike can be detected at the center of either side. An incredibly energetic, vigorously attractive example.
