Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
Bravery Consignment. Mintage: 36,400. 11 graded AU-55, 7 higher at PCGS. Rare in all certified grades, as one might guess from the low San Francisco mintage. Just thin patina layers over most of what was likely a semi-prooflike example upon striking. Orange splashes and several tiny, sharper abrasions emerge on the obverse.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
