A generation's worth of Morgan dollars earn at least choice BU grades at PCGS. Included are: 1879-O (very good strike over exquisite, white fine-textured matte frost surfaces), 1897-S (astounding windmill energy on pure-white mint frost), and 1904 (another very good strike but the cheek disturbed by a number of tiny bagmarks). VAM-8, far date. A die chip within the lower loop of "9" readily identifies this older VAM. A very well struck example, the reverse looks gem-plus all by itself while some faint roll abrading in the obverse left field may have prevented PCGS from going all the way to sixty-five. Essentially white with subtle, yellowish rim toning.

There is a 6.29 ct. oval heat-treated Thai sapphire measuring 11.3x9.97x6.51mm in the center of a flowery halo with a radiating royal blue color that is highlighted perfectly with 11 round brilliant diamonds weighing an estimated 1.20 cttw, VS clarity, I color. The ring is marked 90% on the inside and holds up to the 18K acid test. Ring size 6.5, 5.3 dwt.
