VAM-3, taken off of early dies that created exceptional cameo contrast between nicely textured devices and starkly mirrored fields. Blatantly choice, orange-gold toning layers inward from the rims, particularly on the reverse, and both sides received an outstanding strike from the dies. The reverse is particularly well preserved.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
