  • World Coins-Peru
  • KM#231, Lima mint, mintage: 3409. A superior gem, the surface exudes tremendous mint bloom and fabulously consistent, even golden hue. As is common for the issue, the first "6" in the date appears to be cut over an underlying digit.

  • Grand National Collection. L&M-37, KM#Y31, no dot after DOLLAR, extra flame, Tientsin mint. Many consider this the premier silver dollar within the Imperial series and they often come rather nicely produced, as can be inferred by marvelous, vibrant spinning luster seen on both sides. Indeed, the grade seems almost too low at this point until one discovers scattered, fleeting hairlines on both sides. Exacting strike quality at the denticles and virtually all of the dragon's scales speak to a rather decent strike. A delightful coin with lovely, underrated cascading eye-appeal.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
