  • Lot #124 - Original Series $5 - Marion, IA Charter #117 - PMG VF-20/splits
  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • Although "splits" calls out excessive creasing that inevitably led to narrow slits down the top edge, they do not particularly intrude when the note is laid flat within the PMG holder. A very scarce Linn County bank example, fabulous signatures and strong color remain visible. Only two first charter are reported.

  • Lot #2 - Ancient Greece - Three (138-129 BC) Antiochus VII tetradrachm- NGC XF
  • Hammer: $600
  • Ancient Coins-Ancient Greece
  • A trio of Greece-Syria tetradrachms represents a fairly common but popular "money of the Bible" series, as designated by NGC. Each has been graded extremely-fine, although as-expected, limited production technology creates a lot of variety herein. One example was nicely centered on a huge flan while the others are more typically smaller diameter with a portion of each obverse more-or-less falling off the edge of the planchet. Three coin lot.

  • Lot #306 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $475
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
