  • KM#C67.1a, Krasny mint, Catherine II, undetermined undertype. Produced at the 18th century Moscow mint for a brief, two year period, this ponderous example was struck well enough such as to iron out most of the details of the host coin. The host may have also had somewhat rough surfaces that micro-pores and fissures recognizable even without a loupe. Absolutely superb color.

Mama bird holds a diamond in her beak that measures approximately .05 ct., SI clarity, G color. The baby bird eyes are faceted round rubies that measure 2mm each. Dimensions: 1.75" x 1.75”, 11 dwt.
