Gold $5-Classic Head Half Eagle
McCloskey 3-C (R.4), small date, script 8. Pleasing canary-gold drapes the minimally lustrous on either side, the reverse showing slightly better cartwheel effect. Boldly struck and possibly a little flashy when first struck.

KM#294, Dav-2100, Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, Georg II "mining taler", Zellerfeld mint. Struck to honor The Goodness Of The Lord Mine, as is depicted on the obverse with a mine entrance within a heavily forested landscape. While both sides exhibit marvelous detail characteristic of relatively obscure "mining talers", someone has curiously tooled the entirety of the fields, converting what should be semi-prooflike reflectivity into texture.

Here we have a 14K yellow gold watch chain with a gold-filled charm attached to the side chain that is engraved “CSS 1912”. The clasp is marked 14K and the chain has been acid tested in many places and passes strong. Length: 12”, 20.8 dwt (not including the side charm).
