  • Lot #367 - 1911-D Strong D PCGS MS-62
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • Strong mintmark -- indeed about as bold of a "D" as one will ever find on this key quarter-eagle. So early seems to be the die-state that one wished it would be possible to view the edge outside of the gloopy PCGS insert. Both sides exhibit diminished luster, perhaps because of denser carrot-gold patina, and a staccato pinscratch sneaks down the forward part of the Indian's headdress, assuredly helping to determine the grade.

  • Lot #177 - 1902 $10 Blue Seal - Earlville, IL Charter #7555 - PMG F-15
  • Hammer: $1,250
  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • Lemonade Stand Collection. The Earlville National Bank Earlville, Illinois. While a two bank town, charter 7555 shut down during the Great Depression and left behind only five known large examples to satisfy collector demand today. Rich creme-grey toning endows this ten with vintage character, with a pinhole resting square in the center of the note. Minor incursions on the right edge are well accounted for by the grade.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
