The Trade silver dollar is among the shortest-lived series of coins to ever be issued by the United States Mint and that creates a supply shortage that is easily noticed by any collector of the type. There are nine examples of this short-lived series in this group lot that includes the following: an 1876 (AU details, cleaned), 4x 1877 (XF), 3x 1877-S (XF details, cleaned), and an 1878-S (F). Cecilia Trippe Collection. A group of Russian copper coins fall decidedly toward the upper half of circulated grade as compared to the many corroded "problem" examples usually seen. Included are: 1763 EM 5-kipeks (VF/corrosion), 1793-AM 5-kipeks (XF, much nicer than average), 1794-KM 5-kopeks (VF, slightly undersized flan with typical edge dings), 1804-EM 5-kopeks *XF, slight rim dings), 1804-EM 5-kopeks (XF+, lovely walnut brown), 1842-EM 3-kopeks (Fine, quite choice appearance), and 1844-EM 3-kopeks (VF/ege dings). Each is in an oversized 2.5x2.5 holder with weights individually listed. Seven coin lot.
