  • Lot #653 - 1880/79-O NTC, as described
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-65]. A hint of cameo effect gleams from either side and Liberty boasts an unusually clean cheek. A tiny carbon fleck lands left and below Liberty's ear but aside from this, merely tiny, inconspicuous superficial abrasions will be found.

Included are: 1892-S (thin grey patina on the obverse against a little stronger smoky haze on the reverse), 1902-S (windmill energy and very light wear although the portrait shows myriad tiny circulation nicks), and 1903-S (wonderfully original ash-grey patina and showing a faint, small scrape left of the chin). • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
