Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Pinpoint sharpness speaks to an expert strike, as does intense cartwheel energy readily pinwheeling around both sides. The grade was undoubtedly limited mostly by a sizable abrasion on the cheek, as well as a glut of tiny abrasions across the whole surface.
