Ther is a beautiful mixture of gorgeously toned and blast white examples that have all been assigned lofty grades that most would consider a bit too high based on current grading standards. Included in this eye catching group lot are the following issues: an 1879-O PCI MS-65, an 1880-O NTC MS-65, an 1880-S NTC MS-68, an 1881-O NTC MS-66, an 1882-O NTC MS-65, an 1883-O NTC MS-67, an 1884-O NTC MS-67, an 1885-O NTC MS-67, an 1887-O NTC MS-66, an 1888-O NTC MS-66, an 1889-O CRC MS-63, an 1891-O NTC MS-65, an 1898-O NTC MS-66, an 1899-O NTC MS-67, a 1900-O NTC MS-67, a 1901-O NTC MS-67, a 1902-O NTC MS-67, a 1904-O NTC MS-67, and a 1921 NTC MS-67. KM#377.12, San Luis Potosi mint, erroneous "iP" mintmark. Considered "rare" according to some sources, scarcity stems from erroneous use of "iP" as the mintmark instead of Pi. This specific issue is virtually unobtainable in mint-state and the present VF-30 represents a rather high grade. Further, this appears to be a lovely, original example that suffers no distractions.
