Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Only the faintest possible luster grazes show in the obverse right field while the surface otherwise survives virtually exempt from contact marks. The reverse shimmers with almost perfectly colorless silvery sheen while some apricot toning layers thinly over much of the obverse.
