Sandra Wilson Algiers Estate. Sandra Wilson Algiers Collection. 2 graded MS-67 "star", 4 higher at NGC. While a common date in general, 1946 with a "star" is truly a rare find at NGC (and today's sale contains nearly half of NGC's entire population). Here is an outrageous example that not only puts forth mind-boggling eye-appeal but also possesses incredible technical attributes right down to a virtually complete absence of contact marks. Shockingly bright emerald-green, ruby-magenta, deep violet and sunrise-gold hues douse the entire obverse, with maximum emphasis on emerald-jade vibrancy, while similar Crayola hues enshroud the reverse with priority given yolk-gold color.

Cecilia Trippe Collection. Complete from 1946 to 1980-S, sporadic from 1981-P to 1990-P, then complete again from 1990-D to 2005-S proof, and finally sporadic again from 2005-S silver proof to 2007-S proof, this collection requires a bit of explanation courtesy of the consignor. The effort was to include only colorful dimes, which is an extraordinarily difficult task for Roosevelt dimes after the 1970s; most simply haven't been in albums (or Kraft envelopes) long enough to induce color. Although many astouinding pieces litter these pages, the cataloger is not willing to offer an opinion other than to say that all are UNC (or proof, particularly 1952 - 1964), and that one should assume QUESTIONABLE COLOR for many -- perhaps all, to be conservative. A potential goldmine for the astute bidder.

From the Running Bear Trading Group of Gallup, N.M. here’s a signed Alan Chee sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet. Featured in the center is an incredible sand cast bear with three turquoise pieces. The design is completed with lots of applied feathers and curlicues. The turquoise appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. This bracelet is in excellent condition and is a genuine statement piece! 3.54 troy ounces.
