  • Hammer: $1,400
  • US Currency-National Bank Notes
  • The First National Bank of McVille, North Dakota. Truly very rare off of McVille, a town founded in 1906 and boasting a population of about 500 in 1929, the census shows a single small size note. That said, this note, though worn honestly and properly, does show "CB" or perhaps "EB" in ink above the right serial number. Neither the well worn status nor small detraction can relieve the interest sure to ensue for this remarkable offering.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
