Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Die Pair 2. Lines in the wheat stalks are separated and just as sharp as is necessary to validate the very-fine grade level. Very limited crumbles of greenish verdigris hide within select recesses and combine with overall wholesome leather-brown color to suggest an unusually original example.
