US Currency-Legal Tender Notes, Small
Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

74 graded MS-65 DMPL, 27 higher at PCGS. Even earlier strikes than what is seen here for 1898 have earned "UDM" at ANACS in years past but there is no question about the raving eye-appeal of this utterly prooflike example. The contrast may not be as strong as some but the portraits float over ice-water mirrors on either side. The reverse seems a trifle better detailed than the obverse, both sides being nicely struck overall.
