Large Cents-Liberty Head
Newcomb-11, and needle-sharp with details reminiscent of a common Randall hoard cent. Indeed, sharpness borders upon cataloger's grade of [UNC/altered surface], wherein oblique lighting angles reveal evidence that the surface was once burnished with exquisite care, lessening the effects of trivial, isolated microporous effects. The surface was subsequently recolored with some success except for remnants of olive-green mixed with overall sienna-brown hues. The ultimate consequence of all this discussion is that no perceptible luster remains, and the cataloger could see an EAC estimate of XF40.

Included are: 1939 (tremendous strike, clean right field and jaw-dropping luster), 1939-D (not quite as well struck as the preceding and filled with delightful frost-white texture), and 1939-S (decently struck in spite of a noticeable bisecting die crack on the reverse).
