  • Lot #605 - 1882 Trade NGC PR-66 ULTRA CAMEO
  • Silver Dollar-Trade Dollars
  • 11 graded PR-66 UCAM, 1 graded PR-66 UCAM "star", 7 higher at NGC. Type II / II. Reasonably available for high-end proof type purposes, the original emission near eleven-hundred pieces yielded enough ultra-cameo examples to satisfy a limited amount of demand today. Astoundingly bright, immaculate white mirrors are incredibly free from hairlines and blemishes, save an as-struck little strikethrough in front of the shin. Perhaps a dozen tiny greyish dots sprinkle outward into the same area. Phenomenally sharp throughout except for a couple of upper obverse stars that just miss perfection.

  • Lot #741 - 1938 CACG PR-66
  • Hammer: $875
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • A year for which a few rare cameo proofs are known, this very gem example features modest contrast on both sides, though not enough to elicit any kind of special designation. Ice-white and highly appealing despite some very faint, occasional hairlines.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
