Half Cents-Draped Bust
Bachelor Simon Collection. Cohen-13, plain 4, stemless, and a generally readily available Redbook entry, though obviously at AU-55, this is a sharp and pleasing example. The obverse appears slightly glossy compared to the reverse and either side appears free from major abrasions -- the reverse unusually so. Bold deep brown coloration provides a nice visual impression of completely original preservation.

While softer central details are typical for 1895-O, this example may have been struck a touch better than average, allowing for five points of additional wear on the eagle's breast and the curls over Liberty's ear.
