Minor disparity in grade doesn't preclude San Francisco dollars from the latter half of the 1880s from matching up nicely because all are alight with comparable dazzling brilliance. Included are: 1885-S (excellent strike and showing the dished luster the date is known for), 1887-S (even better struck than the preceding with ample noise on the cheek), and 1889-S (a bit semi-prooflike and not as well struck as its companions, but also showing hints of PVC cloudiness throughout). Three coin lot.

The necklace is completed with a fancy diamond and sapphire clasp that can be worn in the front or back and has a halo of old cut round diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 cttw, SI clarity, I color, around a round brilliant natural blue sapphire from Cambodia with no indications of heating but has been clarity enhanced measuring 7.00 x 7.10mm, GIA Report #6233639033.
