Dense leather-brown patina captures the entire surface and simply refuses to show so much as a single bagmark anywhere. Intricate details over the portrait include virtually full curls and a highly detailed bowtie, just about ideal for a barely circulated key cent.

Whether you are a collector that appreciates VAM varieties, toners, or flat-out attractive Morgan silver dollars, this is a group lot that is sure to please. All four of these “soapbox” style ANACS examples are desirable issues that includes the following: an 1878 7/8TF VAM-34 Planchet Streak Obverse MS-63, an 1883 MS-64, an 1883-O MS-63, and an 1898 MS-63. Each of these would make a nice addition to any collection of early ANACS coins (ck).

Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom

Jewelry-Silver
Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
