Always a good choice for Dahlonega representation, 1853-D proves available in most grades and can be had as a bargain within the present PCGS "cleaned" holder. Wiped a handful of times but not aggressively, the surface still offers pleasing yellow-gold hue and tangible hints of luster within peripheral devices of the reverse.

Perhaps a combination of heft and indifferent handling has created a situation whereby many seem to suffer nicks and bumps on edge, such anomalies professionally "corrected" at far right for this piece.
