Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Scott Laiter Collection. Mintage: 1632. 19 graded AU-55, 76 higher at NGC. Purposefully struck and showing bold luster, either side appears to retain a full complement of detailing despite five points of wear. Mere finger friction has taken on deeper shades of carrot-gold, shying away from the pleasing luster seen in the peripheries; Underappreciate by collectors given the unusually low mintage.
