Silver Dollar-Morgan
134 graded MS-67, 6 graded MS-67 "star", 18 higher at NGC. While not unheard-of in the superb-gem grade level, and Morgan dollar meeting such lofty grading standards warrants celebration. A borderline perfect strike brought up intense matte frost and, of course, outrageously attractive luster. While the cheek remains expectantly free from any mentionable abrasions, a brief linear mark lands on the bottom of the neck.

Blistering white and flagrantly near-prooflike, the fields offer dazzling character around the modestly frosted portraits. This kind of appearance could earn a "star" at some other grading service. Trivial abrasions only pepper the cheek, although they are a little more prevalent than average for the grade.

Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
